Food Shark- Marfa, TX

This is Food Shark, a lunch truck located right on the railroad tracks that was present only during lunchtime under this overhang with several tables. It was overrun with extra visitors the day we went, but I believe the people pictured are Marfinians (I made that term up I don't know if that's what they call themselves). We ordered the Marfalafel, and it was honestly the best falafel I've had in years.

Austin Marathon

Sights at the mile 20 marker at the Austin Marathon, February 15. The atmosphere was extremely spirited hanging out next to Thunderbird Coffee with a band and many, many enthusiastic supporters of the runners (see middle photo).

My Favorite Subject

Brian "Bydeeman" Joseph, a local Austin artist. This is the first day we met on the corner of Lamar and Barton Springs on Labor Day. Wonderful person--visit his gallery on East 11th street.
